More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar stands out for offering a festive way to extend the holiday cheer with 24 tiny Micromallows plush toys, making it ideal for Christmas countdown fans. Compared with the larger plush options like the 12-inch Hedda the Milk for Santa, this set emphasizes variety and daily surprise over size and cuddly comfort. Its compact 2.5-inch size makes it perfect for display or gift-giving but limits the tactile appeal for younger children. The inclusion of 24 different characters adds collector appeal, though it might disappoint those seeking bigger plush for cuddling or play. Overall, this set makes the most sense for dedicated fans who appreciate the holiday-themed surprises and have limited space for larger plush.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed plush toys, offering variety and collectibility
- Compact size allows for easy display or gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys, which may not satisfy those wanting cuddly comfort
- No detailed character descriptions included, reducing collectible depth for some buyers
Best for: Holiday collectors and fans who want a festive, daily surprise for December
Not ideal for: Children seeking large, cuddly plush toys for play or kids unfamiliar with Squishmallows
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“A perfect choice for collectors and holiday countdown enthusiasts with limited display space.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This 4-pack offers a curated selection of festive characters, making it a great gift or collection starter. Compared with the larger 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log, this set emphasizes variety in a smaller package, but sacrifices size and cuddling comfort. Each plush features soft, high-quality fabric, which is a step above more generic plush options, and unique bios that add personality. However, the lack of specific size details means some buyers might find the plush smaller than expected, and the seasonal focus limits its appeal beyond the holidays. This pick makes the most sense for newer collectors or those seeking a compact holiday gift set with personality.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material for a premium feel
- Includes four unique characters with engaging bios
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon
Cons:- Limited to fans of the Squishmallows series, reducing broad appeal
- No size details provided, so plush may be smaller than expected
Best for: Collectors or gift buyers looking for a small, themed plush set for the holiday season
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger plush for cuddling or for children who prefer bigger toys for play
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“An attractive, character-rich holiday set ideal for newer collectors or as a festive gift.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack highlights festive characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, making it perfect for holiday decorating or small gifts. Compared with the larger 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log, this set is more about visual appeal and seasonal charm than cuddly size and comfort. Made with ultrasoft fabric, each plush offers a cozy feel, but their small size might limit their appeal for children seeking larger, huggable plush. The inclusion of unique bios and exclusive Amazon status adds collectible value, though it’s limited to seasonal use. Overall, this pick is best for those who want a charming holiday display or a small, thoughtful gift.
Pros:- Festive, adorable characters perfect for seasonal decoration
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly fabric
- Includes unique bios and exclusive Amazon edition
Cons:- Limited to holiday season, reducing year-round use
- Small size may not appeal to all age groups or for cuddling
Best for: Holiday decorators and gift givers seeking festive, small plush accents
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking large, cuddly plush toys or year-round collectibles
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“Ideal for festive decoration or small holiday gifts, especially for those who prefer seasonal collectibles.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
This 8-inch plush combines festive charm with cuddly comfort, making it a standout for kids and holiday decor alike. Compared with the smaller Micromallows Advent Calendar, Fleur offers a larger size that’s more suitable for hugging and display. Its ultrasoft material ensures a cozy feel, and the detailed character backstory enhances its appeal for children and collectors. The main tradeoff is its limited availability—only during the holiday season—and its fixed size, which might not suit those wanting a more versatile plush for year-round use. This plush makes the most sense for families seeking a plush that balances display presence with cuddly appeal.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality material ideal for cuddling
- Festive character with detailed design
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday use, reducing versatility
- Only available in one size (8 inches), which may be too small or too large for some
Best for: Parents or collectors wanting a festive, hug-sized plush for holiday display and play
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush for year-round display or those who prefer plush toys suitable for rough play
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“A well-sized, cozy plush perfect for holiday cuddling and festive decor during the season.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Milk for Santa offers a larger, 12-inch size that balances portability with cuddly appeal, making it ideal for travel or cozy evenings. Compared with the smaller 4-pack plush set, Hedda provides a more substantial, huggable presence, suited for older children and collectors. Its ultrasoft material ensures a comforting tactile experience, and her unique bio adds charm. The main tradeoff is that her size and softness may make her less durable for rough play, and her availability is limited to fans of the series. This plush makes the most sense for those seeking a size that’s large enough for cuddling but still portable enough for trips or bedtime.
Pros:- Large 12-inch size for cuddling and display
- Ultrasoft material for a cozy feel
- Unique bio and character backstory
Cons:- Limited to fans of the Squishmallows series
- Only available in one character and size, reducing variety
Best for: Travelers and kids who want a sizeable, plush companion for cold winter nights
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a small plush for display or for rough, active play
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Hedda
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
- Included Components:1 12in Hedda Plush
Our verdict“A great-size plush for travel and long-lasting hugs, especially for fans of Santa-themed characters.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar stands out for offering 24 unique, holiday-themed miniature Squishmallows that make it ideal for fans who want a festive countdown. Compared with larger plush options, these 2.5-inch characters are perfect for display or gifting in small doses, but their limited size might disappoint those seeking bigger holiday plush. The official product guarantees authenticity, and the compact size allows for versatile placement, yet it only appeals during the Christmas season and might not satisfy collectors seeking substantial plush. Overall, this pick makes the most sense for seasonal collectors or kids who love daily surprises.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys
- Only suitable for holiday season
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts and collectors who want a compact, festive display or gift set.
Not ideal for: Those looking for a large plush or year-round decor, since the Micromallows are only suitable for holiday use.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is ideal for holiday collectors or kids who enjoy daily seasonal surprises and small plush gifts.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
This 14-inch plush features Nick the Santa Claus with a playful Hawaiian shirt, making it a unique twist on traditional holiday characters. Its size makes it more substantial than the smaller Micromallows, yet it’s less imposing than larger plush options like the 14-inch Fox—ideal for hugging or display on a shelf. The plush’s ultrasoft material offers a cuddly feel, and its official license ensures quality, but it may be too large for very young children and isn’t a functional toy. Compared to smaller collectibles like the Fox Plush, this makes a better centerpiece for holiday decor or a gift for someone who appreciates character details. It suits those wanting a distinctive Santa plush that can double as decor or a collectible.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality ultrasoft material
- Unique character with a festive holiday theme
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to collectible plush, not a toy
- May be too large for small children
Best for: Collectors or families seeking a high-quality, medium-sized Santa for holiday decor or gifting.
Not ideal for: Parents of very young children or buyers looking for a plush that doubles as a functional toy for daily play.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:1 plush
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“This plush is a charming holiday collectible perfect for display or gifting to Santa fans and collectors alike.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This plush bouquet offers a charming set of three 2.5-inch Micromallows characters—Laurel the Christmas Tree, Zumir the Peppermint Moose, and Brooke the Polar Bear—each detachable for versatile play or display. Compared with the advent calendar, this option provides a smaller, more portable gift for fans who prefer a set of distinct characters rather than surprises. Its compact size makes it ideal for decorating small spaces or attaching to holiday packages, but it includes only three characters, which might feel limited for those wanting a larger collection or more variety. This bouquet makes the most sense for gift-givers or collectors seeking a festive, portable plush set.
Pros:- Compact size for easy display or carry
- Detachable plush characters for versatile use
- Festive holiday design
Cons:- Limited to only three characters
- May not satisfy collectors seeking larger or more varied sets
Best for: Holiday gift-givers looking for a small, charming plush set to decorate or include in presents.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking a large or more diverse plush collection, or those wanting plush with more characters in one set.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
Our verdict“This plush bouquet offers a cute, portable holiday gift set suitable for decorating or gifting with a small but festive character lineup.”
Squishmallows Amazon Exclusive Holiday Fox 14″ Plush
This 14-inch plush features James, the adorable fox, with ultrasoft material perfect for hugging. Its size makes it more substantial than the Micromallows but less bulky than larger plush options like the 12-inch Hedda Milk for Santa. The fox’s unique bio and character design add collectible appeal, especially for fans of woodland animals. However, its focus on a single character means it offers less variety than multi-character sets like the Micromallows bouquet. Compared to smaller-sized plush, this larger option provides a more huggable companion, making it ideal for kids and collectors seeking a distinctive character centerpiece. It suits those wanting a plush that’s both cuddly and visually appealing, but it may not be ideal for those wanting a variety of characters in one purchase.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for cuddling
- Unique bio and name enhance collectible value
- Official licensed product
Cons:- Limited to a single character design
- May be too small for some collectors seeking larger plush
Best for: Kids or collectors seeking a single, larger plush with character and collectible value.
Not ideal for: Shoppers who want a set of multiple characters or a plush suitable for very young children who prefer smaller, more manageable toys.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Fox
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Included Components:1 plush
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Age Range:3+
Our verdict“This plush makes a great gift for fans of fox characters or collectors wanting a cuddly, medium-sized companion.”
Squishmallows 8in Fifi the Red Fox Frosted Ornament
This 8-inch ornament features Fifi the Red Fox crafted with ultrasoft plush, combining cuteness with holiday decor. Its size makes it a perfect decoration for trees or shelves, and the unique bio and name add a collectible touch. Compared with plush toys like the 14-inch Fox, this ornament is primarily decorative, limiting its use to holiday display rather than play. Its plush texture and official licensing add to its charm, but the small size might not satisfy collectors wanting larger or more functional plush. It’s best suited for those looking for a festive, soft ornament to enhance holiday decor, rather than a plush toy for active play or larger collections.
Pros:- Soft and plush texture
- Official licensed product
- Cute holiday ornament
Cons:- Limited to decorative use
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors
Best for: Holiday decorators and collectors seeking a soft, cute ornament for their Christmas tree or display shelf.
Not ideal for: Children or collectors seeking larger plush toys or functional stuffed animals for play, due to its decorative focus.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Fifi the Red Fox
- Type:Ornament
Our verdict“This ornament is perfect for adding a soft, festive touch to holiday decor or as a small collectible for fans of Fifi the Red Fox.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
When selecting the perfect squishmallow holiday plush, it’s important to consider several factors that impact their use, display, and gifting potential. Understanding your primary goal—whether it’s for gift-giving, collection, or holiday decor—can help narrow down your options. Durability and size are key, especially if you want plushes to last through multiple seasons or children’s play. Budget considerations also play a role, as some sets and exclusive items carry a premium price. Keep in mind that seasonal designs can sometimes be limited edition, adding to their collectible value or making them a temporary gift option. By weighing these factors, you’ll find the best holiday squishmallows for your needs.Design and Theming
Holiday-themed squishmallows often feature iconic festive characters or symbols, making them ideal for seasonal decor or themed gifts. Consider whether the plush captures the spirit of the holiday—like Santa, reindeer, or winter animals—or if you prefer more subtle, versatile designs. Some plushes are part of special collections that may only be available during certain seasons, adding to their collectible appeal. Themed ornaments, for example, Fifi the Red Fox, combine plush qualities with decorative charm, but may not be as cuddly as standard plushes. Think about how the design aligns with your gifting or decor goals before making a purchase.
Size and Portability
Size influences both display options and price. Smaller plushes, such as 8-inch figures, are easier to gift and store, fitting well on shelves or as stocking stuffers. Larger sizes like 14 or 24 inches tend to be more display-worthy and durable, but come at a higher cost and take up more space. Advent calendars usually feature smaller micromallows, which are perfect for countdowns and interactive fun. Decide whether you want plushes that are easy to carry and gift or larger, more impressive pieces that serve as holiday centerpiece decor.
Set vs. Individual Plushes
Sets like the holiday 4-pack provide variety and are often more economical per plush, making them ideal for gifting multiple people or creating themed displays. Individual plushes, such as Fifi the Red Fox, tend to be more detailed and collectible, appealing to fans who want a specific character or design. Advent calendars fall into a specialized category, offering an interactive experience that combines multiple small plushes into a single package. Consider your budget, space, and purpose—whether it’s collecting a specific character or offering a range of options for gifting.
Price and Collectibility
Price points vary significantly, with exclusive or limited-edition items costing more. While higher-priced plushes often feature more detailed designs or exclusive characters, they may not always be necessary if you’re seeking a simple holiday gift. Advent calendars and special sets can be a better value if you’re looking to maximize the number of plushes for your budget. For collectors, rare or exclusive designs tend to hold more value over time, but be prepared for higher costs. Balance your budget with the desirability and longevity of each item.
Durability and Care
Holiday plushes are often displayed year after year, so durability is worth considering. Look for plushes with securely sewn features and sturdy fabrics if you want them to withstand handling and seasonal storage. Some plushes may be more delicate, especially those with intricate designs or embellishments. If you plan to give plushes to children, durability and safety features like non-toxic materials are especially important. Proper storage after the holidays can extend the life of your plush, making durability a key factor in your decision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows holiday plushes suitable for all ages?
Most squishmallows holiday plushes are designed to be safe for children over age 3, but it’s always wise to check the specific product details for small parts or embellishments that could pose a choking hazard. They are generally soft, plush, and suitable for all ages, making them popular gifts for kids and collectors alike. For very young children, ensure the plush has no loose parts and is made from non-toxic, washable materials. These plushes also make great decorative items for holiday displays, appealing to all ages.
Should I buy an advent calendar or individual plushes for holiday gifting?
Choosing between an advent calendar and individual plushes depends on your goals. Advent calendars add an interactive element and create ongoing excitement leading up to Christmas, making them ideal for families or those who enjoy countdown traditions. Individual plushes are better suited for specific gifts or collectible purposes, especially if you want to give a treasured character or a high-quality keepsake. Consider the recipient’s preferences—if they love surprises and daily engagement, an advent calendar is a great choice; for a single, special gift, an individual plush may be preferable.
Are exclusive or Amazon-only squishmallows worth the extra cost?
Exclusive releases and Amazon-only squishmallows often feature unique designs that aren’t available elsewhere, making them appealing for collectors or fans seeking rare items. However, they tend to be priced higher, so it’s important to evaluate whether the design and exclusivity justify the premium. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind gift or want to add rare pieces to your collection, these exclusives can be worthwhile. For more casual gifting, standard or widely available plushes often provide better value without sacrificing holiday cheer.
How do I store squishmallows after the holiday season?
Proper storage can extend the life of your holiday squishmallows. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or fabric deterioration. Using breathable storage bins or garment bags can help protect against dust and pests, especially if you want to keep them in pristine condition for next year. Avoid crushing plushes under heavy items to maintain their shape. Gentle cleaning with a damp cloth is usually sufficient for maintenance, but always check manufacturer care instructions to avoid damage.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall holiday squishmallow, the 24-Day Micromallows Advent Calendar offers a delightful interactive experience that appeals to children and collectors alike. If value is your priority, the Holiday 4-Pack provides multiple plushes at a reasonable price, perfect for gifting or accumulating a small holiday-themed collection. Beginners or casual gift-givers should consider smaller or more affordable options like the Fifi the Red Fox Ornament, which offers festive charm without a high price tag. Collectors seeking exclusivity will find limited editions and Amazon exclusives worth investing in, though they come at a premium. Ultimately, your choice depends on your budget, recipient preferences, and how you plan to use the plushes during the season.Fall Picks
